The Binta Barry Foundation recognizes the importance of developing critical thinking, communication skills, and leadership qualities among students. To this end, the Foundation has initiated debates and speech competitions for schools in The Gambia.

The debates and speech competitions provide a platform for students to express their opinions, share their ideas, and develop their public speaking and communication skills. The competitions are open to all schools in The Gambia, and the topics are chosen to reflect current issues and challenges facing the country and the world.
