The Binta Barry Foundation is a non-profit organization based in The Gambia that seeks to promote education and gender equality in the country. The Foundation was established in memory of Binta Barry, a young Gambian woman who passed away in 2016 after a battle with cancer. Binta was passionate about education and believed in the power of education to transform lives.

The Foundation's mission is to improve access to education for children, especially girls, in The Gambia. The Foundation believes that education is key to empowering individuals and communities and to achieving sustainable development. The Foundation's core activities include:

  1. Providing Scholarships: The Foundation provides scholarships to girls and young women from disadvantaged backgrounds to enable them to access education. The scholarships cover tuition fees, school supplies, and other expenses.
